This could be devastating to hardcore characters and I think it should be fixed ASAP. It was because I would toggle the loot display off while highlighting something on the ground and then my next click would try to run to it and pick it up. I was wondering why sometimes my character would run somewhere I wasn’t clicking to, sometimes killing me even. If you click anywhere on the screen during this, your character will run to pick up the item that is stuck on the screen. You will not be able to highlight any other items or npcs while this item display is stuck on the screen.

Once you have done this, the item you have highlighted will stay highlighted regardless if you move your cursor off of it. These serious players can have the ingredients and time to create a good Crafted Item.

Crafted Items are a form of Gambling for high level players or 'hardcore' players. They can only be created with The Horadric Cube.

press alt to toggle the item display off Crafted items are similar to rare items, but cannot be Gambled, dropped by Monsters or found in Chests.
